Principal’s Message

It is my honor and pleasure to welcome you all on this webpage. As a Principal of this institute I take this as an opportunity to work for the betterment of our students. The Vision of the college is to provide opportunities to the rural students in the field of Food Processing and agro based Food Industry. The college offers an undergraduate programme of B. Tech. (Food Technology) a four year degree course. The college is affiliated to Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth Akola.
At Sau. Vasudhatai Deshmukh College of Food technology, it is our mandate to give knowledge regarding exploration of the possibilities of preserving, processing and value adding of food to bring it safe from farm to fork. Food Technology although a new branch in limelight, focuses mainly on Innovations in food. Food being the major component of life stands out in our basic needs. Here we aspire for excellence in education to meet the shortfall of skilled manpower in the food processing sector.

Dr. Vaishali Deshmukh is M.Sc., Ph. D. in the subject Microbiology.
